The Neurophone by Patrick Flannagan
Patrick Flanagan invented this incredible brain hack, when he was just a child. In fact, he presented it at a school science fair. The device bipasses the ears and plays sound through the bone. The theory is that it allows information to get directly to the brain faster.
How Does it Work?
The user places electrodes against the skin. When the Neurophone is turned on, the user can either have pink noise playing coming from the device or some kind of learning audio. The wearer can actually hear the noise or audio in their head without the sound having to go through the ear canal. It is also said that it balances the left and right side of the brain.
What are some of the Claims of those Who Have Actually Used the Neurophone?
Some have claimed that they started doing better in school and others use it to enhance their mediation or to learn languages. There have also been cases of people who were almost completely deaf that were able to hear music through this device.
I personally use it for meditation. After using it for a couple of minutes I am in a nice relaxed state. I can get into a meditative state quickly. I often use it with hypnosis audios when I want to do some programming. It just helps the suggestions sink in faster and I get better results.
Any Downside to the Neurophone?
- They can be difficult to find. The links above have a few. The newest version is completely sold out but the links above have one of the original versions. I have tried all of them and have seen really cool results with each.
- You probably don't want to wear this out in public or you may get some odd looks:)
